Gam ki bhi taab rakhte hen
Ham bhi to khwab rakhte hen

Dil me chhupa ke ek chehra
Misl-e-gulab rakhte hen

Hasil nahi he kuchh isme’n
Bas izteraab rakhte hen

Us ki nigah ka mara
Zakhmi shbab rakhte hen

Do harf hi nahi dil mein
poori kitab rakhte hen

Izhar kar nahi sakte
Dil me hisab rakhte hen

He’n tar gunahon se
Jannat ka khwab rakhte hen
